The 7th Annual HFCA Gala will be held at The Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, Illinois on April 25th, 2009. The night includes wonderful live and silent auctions, live entertaiment by The Eleventh Hour, four course dinner with open bar, and event an after dinner coffee and sweet table. This year we will also incude a special tribute to Fr. Pat Brennan, our founding pastor.
Please join us as we come together for a worthy cause – our school. Each year, Holy Family Catholic Academy families, friends and local businesses generously donate goods, services and many other contributions toward the Gala, a significant fundraiser and social event for the entire HFCA community. The proceeds from this year’s event will provide tuition assistance to families in need, supply classrooms with academic materials enhance the Academy’s technology resources and help complete the available space in the new Brennan Center for Children, Youth and Families to greater meet the needs of our children. The success of this fundraiser is entirely possible thanks to your contributions.
We would like to encourage all of you to participate, to get inspired and be creative with your donation! Perhaps you would like to donate tickets to a sporting event or theatre show. Gift certificates to restaurants, spas or other services are also popular items. Perhaps you can share your particular talents. For example, you could volunteer to teach origami, give cooking lessons, or create a themed birthday party. Maybe you've realized that you will not be able to use your time-share this year. Why not donate it and enjoy the tax deduction? Do you own a second home near the beach or a ski resort? Donating a week would be a fabulous idea. Are you traveling over Christmas or spring break? Do you have family in another country? Why not do some shopping abroad and pick up gift items for the auction. No donation is too small. The possibilities are endless!
In addition, various levels of sponsorship are available, as well as an opportunity to place an advertisement or family message in the catalog. We will begin accepting your contributions immediately for all levels. Forms are available at the school office, or you may contact us and we will have them sent directly to you. Please return the forms to the school office as soon as possible.
Your attendance at the 7th Annual HFCA Gala is vital as well. So come and celebrate a night out with friends and participate in our biggest fundraiser for the year!
