Creative seasonal décor in four Barrington-Inverness area residences and the Honquest Althrop Dream Home is the focus of the Nov. 7 Homes for the Holidays, Holy Family Catholic Academy ’s fourth annual holiday housewalk. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Included are an 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. box lunch and 5-7 p.m. wine and cheese event at Honquest ‘furniture for living’, 1455 S. Barrington Road, Barrington , IL . 60010. Tickets are $30.

The housewalk has joined with Holy Family Catholic Community to present a Nov. 6 Trim the Home Floral Expo/ Show at Holy Family, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness. Exhibits open at 4 p.m.; autumn and holiday decorating demonstrations begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20. A 5- 7 p.m. optional catered dinner by Cafe Clemenza is $12.

Combined Trim the Home/Floral Show/Housewalk tickets (including the box lunch and wine and cheese event) are $40.

All Trim the Home and Trim the Home/Floral Show/Housewalk combo tickets can be picked up on the night of Trim the Home (Thursday, November 6th) in the Narthex of Holy Family.  All Holiday Housewalk tickets can be picked up starting at 8:45am on Friday, November 7th in the Narthex of Holy Family.

Proceeds benefit the Academy which provides faith-based education from two-year preschool through eighth grade and Holy Family Catholic Community’s enrichment programs.
